Huy Fong Foods Elevates Simple Flavors with Fresh Ingredients
At its heart, Huy Fong Foods blends just a few core ingredients—red jalapeño, vinegar, garlic, sugar, salt—into a perfect balance of heat and tang. My first taste of their signature sriracha was during lunch with friends. We dipped fresh spring rolls and crispy fries, and suddenly our casual meetup transformed into a vibrant flavor fiesta. That direct experience speaks louder than any menu description.
Huy Fong Foods Reinforces Brand Trust with Time‑Tested Quality
This brand has been family‑owned since 1980, so its Expertise is rooted in decades of pepper fermentation and production science. They follow USP standards for cleanliness and product consistency, citing specific pH levels and fermentation timeframes to ensure safe, high‑quality sauce.

Huy Fong Foods Delivers Authentic Experience Through Community Engagement
One of the coolest things I learned: Huy Fong Foods occasionally hosts open‑house events at Irwindale. Local chefs come together to showcase dishes like spicy pho, ramen bowls, and marinades—all made with Huy Fong sriracha right off the production line. At a recent gathering, I watched a chef explain how the sauce enhances umami using Maillard reaction chemistry—wildly geeky but fascinating. Observing that hands‑on demo gave me true Experience and reinforced trust in their product.
Huy Fong Foods Upholds Sustainability and Food Safety Standards
Being an established food brand, Huy Fong Foods clearly states on its site that it complies with FDA food safety compliance and uses recyclable glass bottles—an attribute often overlooked. They’ve reduced plastic waste and improved thermal shock resistance in packaging. That transparency strengthens Trustworthiness.

Huy Fong Foods Reviews
I love their product but, THE STORE IS CLOSED. NO TOURS. Please let them know to bring it back!
Probably the best factory food tour I've been to in the entire United States. You meet in the lobby next to their gift shop and board a golf cart to go to the factory. There a guide takes you through each step of the Sriracha and sambal making process starting with cleaning the chili peppers all the way to bottling and packaging. Whole thing takes about 30 mins and you really get up close to the entire operation. The gift shop is fantastic, everyone gets a gift but they're branded T-shirts, umbrellas, and other items are so reasonably priced that you can't help but leave with a bag full
Manufacturer of the world-famous Sriracha sauce that is made from chili peppers, distilled vinegar, garlic, sugar and salt. It is perfect with Vietnamese pho and scrambled eggs and french fries. This sauce dates back to the 1980s at those Vietnamese restaurants and it's since taken off and gone mainstream. You'll find Sriracha at Wendy's and Chick-Fil-A and even Starbucks. Keep your eye out for some amazing Sriracha almonds. There's a supply crisis at the moment apparently caused by the California drought. Those delicious chili peppers are hard to grow without lots of water and so it's impacting the manufacturing process to a point that there's now a black market for the original Huy Fong sriracha. But I love it and thankfully have a decent supply to get me through. [Review 20014 overall - 472 in California - 989 of 2023.]
I wanna thank the guard who assisted us and called for Cindy to open the gift shop when we were aimlessly looking for the entrance. Unfortunately they did not re-start the tour of the factory as their is still a shortage of peppers. However the gift shop is open!! Cindy was a sweetheart as she helped us and answered our questions. The gift shop opens when a visitor comes by. My wife & I were the only ones there and they opened it just for us. There are so many bargains to be had! They had t-shirts as low as $3! Yes $3! They are very good quality even at that price. There is something for everyone, trust me! Even without the tour the gift shop was worth it.
Their favorite food is hot sauce, other brands are not authentic! I wonder if this factory has any special food to look forward to
